Saulsbury Recieves NDSC’s Commendation for Safety and Occupational Safety Merit Award
The North Dakota Safety Council is a private non-profit organization supported through grants, donations, memberships and training. Dedicated to preventing injuries and saving lives. Saulsbury has partnered with the NDSC based on the shared goal to prevent incidents by teaching people to recognize hazards, learn how to properly respond to unsafe conditions and keep safety top of mind.
The NDSC’s awards program honors member companies with outstanding safety programs; employees and instructors who make safety a top priority; and those who have gone above and beyond to improve safety in their workplaces and the communities they serve. This spring, Saulsbury’s HSE Manager, John Andrews, was honored to accept the Commendation for Safety in 2015.
With 0.00 lost man-hours and a remarkable 0.27 TRIR over 7.5 million man-hours, we are proud of John and the Saulsbury employees who have also been awarded NDSC’s Occupational Safety Merit Award. This award is given to MEMBER organizations showing an incidence rate which is equal to or less than the national average in their North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code.
