Amine

Optimized solutions for gas or liquid treating tailored specifically to project requirements.

Market Segment Overview

Amine treating remains the primary mechanism for the removal of CO2 and H2S in natural gas and/or natural gas liquids in order to maintain downstream product specifications for residue gas and natural gas liquid products produced in cryo plants, as well as to prevent CO2 freeze-up during deep ethane recovery operations within the cryo plants.

As a leader in the midstream market for gas processing facilities, Saulsbury has successfully integrated and installed amine treating and regeneration systems of numerous sizes and configurations, including:

  • Basic single treating trains with single regeneration systems
  • Inlet gas and NGL treating with a common regeneration system
  • Split-flow parallel inlet gas and NGL contactors with a common regeneration system
  • Split-flow parallel inlet gas and NGL contactors with individual, dedicated regeneration systems
  • Expandable amine regeneration systems to allow for higher circulation rates at future dates
  • Brownfield installation of amine treating and regeneration at existing operating facilities
  • Amine plant relocations and re-installations
