Project Summary

Saulsbury served as the general and electrical contractor for a leading oil and gas client’s CO2 recovery plant. This plant was designed to provide high purity CO2 for injection for enhanced oil recovery. The facility processes a 95 million standard cubic feet per day gas stream and includes facilities for separating, sweetening, treating, dehydrating, and compressing CO2 to the required injection pressure.

Byproduct streams resulting from these processing facilities include gas condensate and hydrocarbon gas.

Doe Canyon CO2 Booster Station

As part of the CO2 Program Expansion Project in Cortez, Colorado, Saulsbury was tasked with increasing the station throughput of the Doe Canyon CO2 gathering system and preserving the ability of the station to operate with declining CO2 well production pressures.

Saulsbury completed a complex CO2 program enhancement for leading midstream client including multiple pump stations and compressor stations. The project overall provided a 300 MMSCFD capacity increase to the client's pipeline system.
