Project Summary
Saulsbury performed the construction for an all-new low-sulfur gasoline unit at the Big Spring refinery including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical & instrumentation.
The new unit made it possible for the client to produce gasoline with lower sulfur content as part of its initiative to improve air quality and meet regulatory requirements.
This was only one of several environmental upgrades completed by Saulsbury for the refinery. Other projects include the construction of a low-sulfur diesel unit and the expansion of the refinery’s sulfur recovery unit.
